Dr. Tara Koza Camargo
Dr. Tara Koza Camargo is a Tampa Bay area native with a passion for everything St Pete! She attended the International Baccalaureate program at St Petersburg High School and then went on to complete her bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Florida. She completed her doctor of optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry and has since returned home to serve the patients of Pinellas County. From the first day of working for Dr. Marantz, Dr. Camargo fell in love with the practice and quickly recognized the high quality of care given to patients and in return the loyalty and high patient retention that is unique to this office. She hopes to continue this long tradition of quality eye care that Dr. Marantz, and before him Dr. Benjamin, have offered the community. Dr. Camargo believes in quality over quantity and takes the time necessary to provide a thorough eye exam. It is important to her that patients leave feeling like they were well cared for and have a great experience when they come in. Dr. Camargo keeps up with all the latest advances in eye care to provide the most up to date in standard of care. She is proficient in fitting contact lenses including multi-focal and mono-vision lenses, toric lenses to correct astigmatism as well as RGP and specialty contact lenses for unique corneal conditions.

Jeremy Camargo
Keeping the tradition alive, Dr. Camargo’s husband Jeremy is on board to run our day to day operations along with our laboratory. Jeremy graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2012 with his bachelors in Social Sciences during which time he maintained a job working in an optical laboratory. Since taking over the practice, he has brought in state of the art lab equipment to fabricate most prescriptions on site. He has over 19 years of lab and optical experience and with our optician the two of them have over 35 years experience. They will not only find the best looking and best fitting frame; they will also make sure your lens selection is spot on! Jeremy enjoys playing tennis and golf, watching his two favorite college football teams, the University of Michigan and the University of Florida and most importantly spending time with family and friends.
